Ryan joined sDC after he came into his own as an architectural designer in Southern California with over a decade of experience in large-scale and medium-scale public sector projects. He’s worked with various municipalities and school districts to deliver design-forward architecture that aligns idea, technique, and material into a built form that is often unexpected yet highly considered. Ryan believes that a good space holds the human experience well, and a great space helps question it – two qualities that are essential to any meaningful architecture meant for the contemporary public. Beyond architecture, Ryan has a deep appreciation for nature, meditation, art, science, and a causal affinity for board games, running, motorcycles, and making bad latte art.
Ryan has a Bachelor’s in Environmental Design: Architecture from University of Colorado and a Master’s in Architecture from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc).
